This Sour pours a hazy golden-yellow with aromas of freshly cut peaches. On the palette the juicy sweetness and dry, fuzzy skin-like body is complemented by a bright and balanced acidity. Italian red wine barrels impart a complexity that enriches to this dry yet mouth-watering beer.

Style : Sour ABV : 5.8% Bottle Size : 500ml This sour is fermented with wild yeast strains brettanomyces and Cher Ami, our house mixed culture, and refermented with raspberries followed by ageing in ex-Sangiovese red wine barrels sourced from Emilia Romagna in Northern Italy. Swathes of rich and juicy raspberry, delicately balanced amidst Brett funk, tartness and tannin, giving a subtle juicy fruit character from the barrels lingering vinous wood character and echose of sweet Beaujolais.

Yonder As The Crow Flies Yonder
Style : Wild Fruit Beer ABV : 5.6% Bottle Size : 375ml   Brewed as part of the Radius Project 2019, we were chosen alongside 9 other breweries from the UK and Europe to brew a beer with ingredients from a 20 mile radius around their brewery. We used our house cultures of yeast and bacteria to ferment a wild ale, brewed with water from a borehole beneath the brewery, malted barley and rye from Warminster Maltings (just under 20 miles away) and damsons picked from our landlords garden, directly behind the brewery. The results are this tart and funky beer with flavourful damson taste and aroma.

Style : Wild Ale ABV : 4.7% Bottle Size : 375ml   How could we talk of ourselves a Somerset brewery, focusing on local ingredients, without calling upon some of our cider making friends for help?The first release of Loop for 2019, brewed in Autumn 2018, featured 20% apple juice, pressed from beautifully tannic cider apples grown just a few miles up the road at Burrow Hill.With no preservatives or pasteurisation, the juice did a very good job of added to our mixed cultures and the result is a cross between a dry, farmhouse cider and a tart farmhouse saison.The addition of wild rose petals, gives a perceived floral sweetness to balance that dryness.
