The result is explosive fruity mayhem. Sticky tropical purees coalesce around a scintillating acidity, itself smothered in a thick, oaty mouth feel. Juicy, puckering, indulgent, this is Actinia.

Vibrant Forest Chicxulub Vibrant Forest
Style : Imperial Stout ABV : 9.4% Bottle Size : 330ml The story: 1. We aged Black Oktober in Laphaiog Barrels for some 16 months. 2. During this process, we blended it into Rum and Bourbon w/ fresh Oktober to mollify the peated maelstrom 3. We panicked again and added figs4. This worked wonders, and so Midnight Anthracite was born5. Separately, we made our Cambrian Root bigger and weird - it became 9.4%, it was soured, and the salt and liquorice were both amped6. Deccan Traps was born7. We popped 800l of Deccan straight into these ex-Midnight Anthracite barrels8. 4 months later, Chicxulub was born!If the eruptions of the Deccan Traps started the K/T Mass Extinction, then the Chicxulub impact certainly ended it! Drink with respect.
Vibrant Forest Dahlia Vibrant Forest
Style : Bretted Sour ABV : 3.5% Bottle Size : 750ml Many moons ago, after we'd emptied our two Chardonnay barrels of their former saison offspring, we filled them back up with fresh, non-fruited/hopped Zuur. About a month into ageing, we also innoculated both barrels with Brettanomyces. Both barrels tasted very different at the end of maturing; one had taken on the Brett and carried the aroma you'd expect with lashings of dry funk and musty grapes whilst the other was suprisingly fruity with a surprising amount of apricot creeping in. These were both blended and this bottle holds their gift. Heavy Brett funk on the nose, bright mixed fruits on the tongue with dominant grape and apricot, and the finish is full of dry raspberry, tart grapes, and lingering bretty goodness.
Vibrant Forest Deccan Traps Vibrant Forest
Style : Sour Imperial Stout ABV : 9.4% Bottle Size : 330ml Liquorice is one of our favourite ingredients at Vibrant Forest and, as it's currently freezing in this wee brewery, we decided to both imperialise and sour things a little. The aroma is dense, the souring and the liquorice blending into a titanic wall of flavour. The palate takes an immediate assault. Upfront is a smouldering wall of thick imperial stout; the souring has sharpened off the expected roasted edges and is suprisingly balanced. The finish releases the liquorice on a wave of tart soy and roasted malts.
Vibrant Forest Fragacea Vibrant Forest
Style : Fruited Sour ABV : 7.3% Bottle Size : 440ml Can Fragacea sees us hurl frantic volumes of strawberry and pineapple, with a healthy dose of lime, at a thick oat and wheat heavy malt bill that's been soured with Lactobacillus. The result is certainly puckering, with layers of sweet, gooey strawberry upfront, tart, pithy pineapple in the middle, and a sharp spike of lime to finish off this vibrant experience.
Vibrant Forest Luciferin Vibrant Forest
Style : Gose ABV : 7.5% Bottle Size : 330ml Luciferin is our monument to those bright and ephemeral flashes that light the deep. The aroma blends chocolate with tart lime; it's heavy, and oozes up the glass. On the tongue is an immediate assault of juiced lime which coalesces around the tart and salty gose broth. Our darkened base lends a whisper more of chocolate, before the experience sinks back to the depths.
Vibrant Forest Pupa Vibrant Forest
Style : Pale Ale ABV : 4.5% Bottle Size : 440ml Can Built to sit somewhere between West and East coast, our Symbiosis series around the idea of building on what we knew about hops and how they complimented and contrasted against each other. Pupa is the next stage in the evolution. We're taking the hops from the limelight and moving towards the yeasts that play just an important role in flavour. Expect masses of tropical fruits bursting from the can as hops and yeast dance to create a sensual panoply of aromas. Oats lend a luxurious mouthfeel and low bitterness helps to accentuate this beer into a long and juicy finish.
Vibrant Forest Vic Secret Vibrant Forest
Style : Pale Ale ABV : 5.0% Bottle Size : 440ml Can Part of our core range includes a series of single hop pale ales. Each of these uses a single hop variety that allows us to accentuate every aspect and nuance of its namesake. From this, we can teach our drinkers the differences between the hops we use, as well as how these hops change year on year. Vic Secret joins the line up in April 2018. In the FV it was floor to ceiling peaches. This maintained into maturity and grapefruity pithiness joined the finale
Vibrant Forest White Tail, Blue Pine Vibrant Forest
Style : Double IPA ABV : 8.0% Bottle Size : 440ml Can Summit, as a stand alone hop, is very under represented in the brewing world. Often relegated to bittering, or lost among other varietals, it doesn't often get to shine. This ends here. Immediate blasts of juicy, resinous citrus assault the palate. Orange dominates the flavour, and lends its pith to a long and bitey finish.
Vibrant Forest x Siren Stone Sap Vibrant Forest
Style : IPA ABV : 6.8% Bottle Size : 440ml Can We all have heroes in life but it's not very often they come round your house to play on your brew kit. When Siren said they wanted to collaborate on a brew, we got to thinking what we loved about their beer and, after much arguing, we couldn't get past how consistently fantastic their core beers are. After much mumbling, we settled on a juicy IPA fermented on their house yeast. We threw lots of Citra, Simcoe, and Bravo at a very oat-heavy brew and this is the result. Pineapple, orange and mango dominate the aroma whilst juicy apricot, mandarin and ripe mango tackle the palate. Huge sappy flavours takes the lead into a long, piney finish.
